About Us

    We have had a family cattle operation over 30 years. Our registered operation includes both Herefords and Angus. Our home ranch is at the base of the Owyhee Mts, along the Snake River in the Southwest corner of Idaho. Our summer ranch is high desert (5,000 ft elevation) about 40 miles SW of Sun Valley.

  The Hereford foundation herd was started with cattle from Prewitt-Wray and over the years we have added cattle from Ken Baker, Marvin and Chuck Feddes, Rock Creek, Imigs, and Coopers. We are using AI and Embryo Transfer, along with the purchase of Fantastic, to produce top quality hereford cattle.

  Our Angus AI sires include Special Design, TC Freedom, Danny Boy, Nebraska and Traveler 004, with a cow herd base from Thomas Angus, Bear Mountain and Vermillion Ranch.

  Our commercial cattle include Herefords, Blacks and Black-Baldy. We have been collecting carcass information, performance testing and ultrasound on our calves to prove our genetics. Our cattle are marketed private treaty and select consignment sales. You are very welcome to call or visit our operation anytime.

We do show at select shows including the Western Nugget National in Reno and the National Western Stockshow in Denver. Our main focus is raising the best possible animals from birth through harvest or production.
